- Put motor over canister so it engages the bucket
- Plug in the ice cream maker and start motor
- Add about two inches of crushed ice to the bucket, then sprinkle with rock salt
- Churn for up to forty minutes until ice cream is soft
- Remove motor, remove lid, and remove canister
If the ice cream is ready, place in the freezer overnight to ensure it hardens. And that is how you make ice cream. If you want to cut down on the fat, use 1% milk instead of whole for example. Just use the product that is lower in fat compared to what you normally use.
